Der Kreis klammert sich an uns. Die Formen brechen aus und ziehen uns in die Tiefe. Wollen wir eintauchen und mit der Künstlerin tanzen? <\/em>Kräftige Formen<\/a>, filigrane Linien: »Construction dynamique, pénétration de spirales et diagonales« nimmt in Sophie Taeuber-Arps Œuvre eine Zwischenstellung ein, verbindet typische Merkmale ihrer frühen Schaffensphase mit der Handschrift späterer Arbeiten. Das Werk dokumentiert den stilistischen Wandel der Künstlerin. Es bringt Spannung hervor, eine Interaktion von Neuem und Altem, eine Momentaufnahme der Veränderung. Charakteristisch ist die Form des Kreises als wiederkehrendes Motiv in Taeuber-Arps Werken. Hier ist der Kreis Grundbaustein der Komposition, fügt sich das Werk wunderbar in die Formensprache der Künstlerin ein. Allerdings brechen die Flächen aus der kreisrunden Komposition aus und grenzen das Werk von anderen typischen Darstellungen des Kreises in Taeuber-Arps Oeuvre deutlich ab. Die Stabilität und Sicherheit der Form wird zerstört, der Kreis als Mittelpunkt ihres künstlerischen Ausdrucks wird in seiner Darstellung und Bedeutung wesentlich verändert. Mithilfe der Komposition wird dem Bild Lebendigkeit verliehen. Positive und negative, konvexe und konkave Formen<\/a> interagieren miteinander und kreieren Bewegung und Tiefe. Breite Flächen und schmale Linien geben den Betrachter*innen ein täuschendes Gefühl von Größenverhältnissen und Räumlichkeit. Taeuber-Arp setzt Gegensätze in den Dialog und eröffnet verschiedene Ebenen der Betrachtung. Ihre rhythmischen Kompositionen eröffnen neue Fragen zu dem künstlerischen Schaffensprozess. Ihre individuelle Beziehung zum Tanz<\/a> könnte auf einen Einfluss dieses Bereichs auf ihre Werke schließen lassen. Kompositionen als musikalischer Rhythmus<\/a>, Linien als Bewegungen, die Beziehung der Formen<\/a> zueinander als Takt. Die Grenzen der beiden Kunstformen scheinen zu verschwimmen und geben den abstrakten Bildern eine ungewohnte Lebendigkeit und Nähe. Dies eröffnet einen anderen Blickwinkel der Betrachtung und neue Perspektiven zur Lesbarkeit ihrer Werke.<\/p>\n
